I have recently had success with some new recipes and wanted to share! Not exactly low-fat type of fare but if you feel like splurging...
(All of the pictures come from the original recipe)
Broccoli Gratin with Swiss and Parmesan
One of the commenters on my brother's recipe blog recommended this recipe. I couldn't wait to try it because I really, really love the broccoli/cheese combination. I didn't have any green onions but it still turned out great.

Creamy Chicken and Orzo Salad
My husband and I loved this salad! It appealed to my kids too because they love anything noodles. I didn't have any celery at the time but it would have added a nice crunch.

Black & White Peanut Butter Brownies
Oh these were yummy!! White chocolate, dark chocolate, peanut butter...it doesn't get much better than that! It calls for chopped white and bittersweet chocolate but I was hasty and just used white and semi-sweet chocolate chips. It turned out just fine. IMPORTANT: The recipe says to bake for 25 minutes. It must be a mistake because in a 9 x 9 pan - these brownies are pretty thick. It took between 35-40 minutes. Just watch them!

Strawberry Lemon Bars
These were good. I felt like they were a little tart and I would have liked to taste more of the strawberry. So next time I will add a little more sugar and more strawberry puree. I like the variation on the usual lemon bars, though.
