It's been a fabulous two weeks filled with family, family and more family! My brother and his family flew out from Pennsylvania so we made the most of it with a week of local get-togethers and a week spent in St. George.
The first event was a dinner and talent show at my mom's house.
Micaela sang the theme song from Romeo and Juliet. She has a lovely voice and left shortly after she sang for a week-long music camp at BYU.
Sarah and Tess showed off their two sugar gliders.
Shawn cleaning up the sugar glider poop off of Tess' back.
Cate played two pieces on the piano.
Isaac read a darling essay he wrote about Wes being his hero.
Jack showed us a picture he drew.
Jake played on some make-shift drums. Even on a colander and mixing bowl - this kid can drum!
The little girls did some dancing.
Other talents included Addie's vocal solo, Nick acting out a monologue he wrote and Miles sharing his achievements in football.
This beautiful rainbow we spotted on the way home was the perfect end to a very nice evening.
For the rest of the week I decided to take a break from the camera. But other activities included...
Going to see Babies and having dinner at Amy's house
BBQ at my house
Dinner at Brick Oven and hanging out at Mom's house
Visiting Tess' house and dinner at Marie Callenders
A get-together with extended family at my mom's house
and
Micaela's vocal recital
Sunday we left for St. George. More family fun to come!

The last photo looks like it could be a postcard for the state of Utah, Em! So fun!
