Building this tree house is giving the kids a good introduction to power tools (yikes!), staining, measuring, nailing, lifting - and just good hard work. I wasn't aware that this "tree house" was actually going to be a real constructed house in a tree!
Don't ask me how one grown man and two small children hoisted those framed walls up into that tree. I offered to help but they told me I probably better not watch. I got up the courage to take a few photos but it was kind of nerve-racking. Wes will be the first one to admit that perhaps he shouldn't have dreamed so big. Too late to turn back now! As I write he is putting up gables for the roof. All I can do is shake my head in amazement...
Apartment for rent: carpeted, electricity, loft, 9 foot ceilings, deck and breathtaking views of the trees. Please note you will be living 15 feet off the ground.

Seriously, I really need Wes's skills. He is incredible! It will be nicer than my house . . . can't wait to see the finished product.
Weston is amazing. Wow.
Is there anything that Wes can't do! Wow, I'm amazed yet again. This looks awesome. We're definitely coming to your place the next time we're in town!
That is unreal! How awesome for your kids!
Waaah! Isaac's tiny little fingers next to the power saw. I wouldn't be able to watch!
