Saturday

After a busy morning with two different piano master classes, a cello lesson and a dance recital rehearsal - the rest of the day was devoted to celebrating the season.
First, we stopped by our sweet neighbor's Christmas cookie open house. Yum! We then bundled up and headed to a local Christmas tree farm. It seemed a little strange without snow on the ground but it was still beautiful and very fun to cut our own tree.

That night we took the older kids to see The Nutcracker at the Capitol Theater. Going to see this ballet is one of my favorite childhood memories. I don't know who was more excited - me or the kids! (Forgive the red eye. Still struggling with computer issues.)
It was a big day for all but it's nice that it is finally starting to feel like Christmas!

Anna -
not far from our house up against the mountain. This is the first year we have been. Last year we went to Baums like you.

My bro. and sis-in-law live in Provo and have been looking for a Christmas tree farm to visit and cut down their own tree. Do you mind telling me the name so I can pass it along?
