The 3rd Annual Donuts in the Driveway

Last evening we hosted our 3rd Donuts in the Driveway. I was a little more ambitious this year - I invited more people (our entire ward) and ordered more dough (20 pounds). Although I was worried we wouldn't have enough donuts - it all worked out and everyone seemed to have a great time! And as usual - I got busy and forgot to take pictures!! Except for a few before it started.

A huge thanks to the friends and family that helped!
Jessica - single-handedly rolled and cut about 150 donuts
Wes, Kip and Joseph - cooked to perfection close to 300 donuts and that many donut holes!
Dad - delivered tray after tray of donuts to the cookers and the serving table
Jan - the beloved babysitter and maker of the favorite orange icing
My kids - worked so hard before, during and after and were great at giving reports of the general happenings of 30 - 50 kids running wild in my backyard.

We couldn't do it without you all!

It was so wonderful, Emily, thank you. We're all forever grateful the Spencers moved into the neighborhood--and not just because of the fabulous donuts:).

I'm sorry we missed out on what will someday be a historical event.

I should come next year, as the photographer. Hosting and taking photos never works well for me either.

I love the idea so much! I wish my driveway could accomodate one here in CO.

Again, my jaw is dropped! You're incredible. Seriously, I think that I'd be a huge stressed out, frazzled, yelling, nightmare if I tried to do something like this. Maybe one year we can just attend yours instead.
