We Took A Chance...

(I am being a little more obscure in the titles of my posts - as I am learning it is the words in the titles that come up in random strangers' internet searches)

We took a chance when we ordered this game from Amazon (for our 9 year old daughter for Christmas). At the time, there was a little video on Amazon that made it look really fun so we decided to go for it. The game is Hyperslide and it has turned out to be a great purchase! It is really fun for the whole family - adults can get into in just as much as kids. It is one of those "electronic" toys that require batteries and makes noise - my least favorite kind of toy. However, it isn't too obnoxious and we have enjoyed it anyway. I know that Christmas is over but if there are any birthdays coming up - this would make a great gift.

I bought a Hyperslide after seeing yours. As we noted at Christmas, it would be nice if the device had an on/off button. As it is now, you have to wait for it to just turn off by itself, which can be annoying because of all the sounds. And if you pick the wrong game, you're kind of stuck until it ends. There's supposed to be a reset button on the bottom, but I haven't been able to find it. Have you?

Anyway, this is a fun little gadget! As you say, it's fun for kids and adults. I'm just starting to show it to friends.

We figured out that if you hold down both buttons on the top at the same time for a few seconds - the game will turn off. I am sure you can reset it that way too.

Cool! Max's birthday is next month and for some reason I'm having a really hard time coming up with things for him. So this is a great suggestion. Thanks!
