Over a year ago I posted about the many little treasures I find at the bottom of the washing machine after washing my kid's clothes. It has continued to be a fascination for me - finding these treasures and trying to figure out why my kids would choose to pocket the little trinkets (trash?). I love that it gives me just a peek into their young minds and worlds.
shred of baseball
miniature snail figure
4 hair clips (not ours)
tiny orang cube
Hello Kitty chain
plastic spider
4 buttons (not from their clothes)
rusted chain link
bulb from Christmas lights
spring
orange top
paper clip
2 Moki marbles
clean stone
brad
2 tiny bells
bald polly pocket
2 rocks
grey disc
yellow eraser
yellow crayon
shot gun shell
lincoln log
foam bullet
3 pink discs
3 beads
What is it about kids that makes them such squirrels?!

I love your new posts and I wanted to let you know that the Memorial Day post was fascinating! What a neat experience. I didn't know Brian Kershisnik lived in your grandmas house. How neat to see all his works in there. Your story of your grandma's passing was very beautiful. I am so glad you have your blog!
I loved this post when you put it up a year ago, and I love this one just as much.
I loved this idea and so keep collecting the treasures and someone keeps invading the stash. Rob I believe is the culprit.
Only you could think something positive while collecting this stuff out of your washer and dryer - and make such an intriguing observation. Thank you for helping me take a different glimpse on what I previously viewed as a laborious, boring task! Two items I've found in the dryer - intact and still functional are electronic games and chocolate - still in the wrapper!
These photos could be in a photo gallery. Intriguing!
It's true...where does it all come from. I love your pictures. You should make an "I Spy" page out of these things!
I love this post (as I loved the first one too). Such a great record of your life and kids right now. I should start doing stuff like this.
