Tis the Season to Try to be Jolly!

Due to sick kids two weekends in a row and lack of motivation I am having a difficult time getting in the spirit of the season. But we're trying!

Yesterday we decorated the tree and then went to see a live nativity in our community. It was lovely. If you live in the area and want to do something like this with your family - this is so well done! But it only goes tonight and Monday night. Let me know if you want the details.

Today it was sick kids. Let's hope for a better tomorrow!

Your tree is pretty. I hope you all feel well soon. Clara has an icky cough and a gross nose. I am just crossing my fingers that no one will be sick for our flight next week....but tis the season.
Good luck getting in the holiday spirit. I made some of the candy you posted recipes for last year to help me get in the mood.

It's been a slow getting-going for us too. I was thinking about you and the ornament tradtion for your kids, so I'm glad to see this year's pictures. And the tree looks great. Here's to things becoming more festive..and fast!

I always wonder why Christmas takes me by surprise. What? Our tree is sitting on its side, undecorated. We can't find our Christmas tree stand.
