Happy Birthday to My Man!

This guy never ceases to amaze me! That is what attracted me to him in the first place! Even after all these years - he continues to marvel me. These are just some reasons why I think he deserves one big huge awesome birthday:
1. First and foremost - he is hilarious. Am I right or am I right?!
2. He is enthusiastic (to quote one of his undergrad letters of recommendation, "enthusiasm is an understatement.")
3. He works hard - at the office, in the yard, at home, and at church.
4. He plays hard - especially with the kids. They play football, baseball, basketball, make snow forts, have sleep outs, jump on the tramp, build tee pees, have races and go camping. You should see his plans for the treehouse!
5. He is multi-talented. I have been a fool to think we would ever need a plumber. Or an electrician. Or a tiler. Or a contractor. Or a landscaper. Or a gardener. Or a hot tub person. Or someone to repair the sprinklers. Or a painter. Wes scoffs at me whenever I suggest such a thing. Here is a picture of him -in the driveway - sewing the awning for the new pop-up trailer he bought this past summer. Oh, did I mention he sews? And plays the guitar...and sings...and plays the harmonica...and the autoharp...oh - and not to mention all of the sports and outdoor activities he does so well. Pretty much anything he does - he does well.

6. He is handsome and still maintains an awesome body!

7. He is a good, good man that tries hard to be a good husband, father and person. I feel incredibly lucky to have him as the love of my life!
