Scarecrow Festival and Pumpkin Plunder
Last Saturday we went with Eliott, Carlee, Jack and Tember to the Scarecrow Festival. The kids had a wonderful time. They went on the inflatable slides, scaled the rock-climbing wall and got balloon animals. And then we let each of them pick out a pumpkin.
This morning I woke up to find that someone had stolen 5 of our 6 pumpkins and had smashed one of them on our front sidewalk. I am trying very hard to not let this get to me but I am dreading having to tell the kids when they get home from school. This happened to us last year too!

Crazy about the smashed pumpkins...and sad too! So sorry. But the day at the patch looked really fun. And those kids could not be any cuter.
That is very sad. I might even volunteer to sleep on your porch next year with a shotgun...I'll catch those punks.
But the scarecrow fest. looks fun. I should take my kids. I keep hearing about it.
That happened to Karen J too just down from you. I think someone is preying on your street! Mine haven't been touched!
That is so sad about your pumpkins! The festival looks like a lot of fun. Anna and a shotgun? Hmm, who would have thought.
What a fun activity! Sorry to hear about your pumpkin loss. Sad face.
Now I'm all riled.
