A Blog Birthday

Today is the one year anniversary of this blog! My very first post to this blog was about a family birthday party we had for Isaac and Cate where we had a very memorable and hilarious canoing excursion. My second post was about Isaac's friend party at Kangaroo Zoo and my third post was about Cate's princess party. I told you I always get a little carried away with this double birthday thing!
Anyway, I can't believe it has already been one year of blogging! Before I started this I used to swear to friends and family that I would never start a blog - I don't have anything to say! Well a year later - guess who is eating her words! I thoroughly enjoy my blog in a way I never thought I would. And I feel like I am doing something valuable by way of recording personal and family history. Thanks to everyone who reads and cares about what I have to say. And thanks for the comments. They really do mean a lot!

Technically, the first time I ever posted on a blog was when I was a guest mom on Design Mom. Gabby is a really good friend of mine and her blog was about four months old when she invited me to be a guest mom in October of 2006 (exactly a year before I started my own blog). (Little did she know at the time how huge and famous her blog would become!) And not surpisingly one of my posts on Design Mom was about nothing other than Isaac and Cate's family birthday party!!!
