Sweet Sixteen!
Last weekend my firstborn child - my first baby - turned 16 years old! Where has the time gone?! Addie has been the person in my life that has stretched me the most but also someone that I admire and love deeply. She is so much of what I want to be. She is stunningly beautiful inside and out. She is interesting, smart, witty, funny, energetic, athletic, curious, clever, optimistic, caring, forgiving and responsible. She is a true musician, plays the piano beautifully and sings like an angel. She loves animals, plants, flowers and bonzai trees She adores Isaac, loves Cate and is kindred spirits with Sarah Jane. And they all worship her! She has a sweet and deep connection with her father that I will always envy. I can't wait to see what the future holds for my "Sweet Adeline." I love you to bits, body and bones!

Happy Birthday to Addie! That is my very most favorite newborn photo of all time!!
I can't believe she's 16! Addie is what I refer to as a "Golden Child!" There's always 8-10 really good, smart kids each year...but every 4-5 years, you get that one "Golden Child!" Not just smart and a good kid...but everything they touch is golden! Kind, leader, talent, etc. One of the best!
