Spring Break - Malibu Part Two

Even though the weather wasn't as warm as we would have liked - we still didn't have trouble finding things to do at the beach.  One day we took sleds to a sand hill.

Of course - before long Wes couldn't resist a jumping contest.

The pictures were so cute - I took a ton!

Sarah found a starfish tumbling in the surf.
Wes took a few minutes to teach the kids about the different parts of a starfish.
Check out the water droplet!

We made our way to the other end of the beach to explore some tide pools.  There was a guy there collecting mussels for fishing lure.

We enjoyed lots of play time on the beach - smashball, football, frisbee and we even tried a few games of volleyball.
All of the girls had applied Jamberry nails for the trip.
It was a pretty laid back week.  The only time we left the condo was to spend an afternoon at the Santa Monica Pier where we shopped along the 3rd Street Promenade and when we went out for Indian food.  Being the kind of people that normally pack our trips with things to do - it was very nice to have a week of pretty much nothing.
