She's Learning

After several cross words were exchanged between us this morning about being obedient, Cate yelled from her room, "Mom! Come and see the sign I made."

"What does it say?" I asked her.
"It says, 'OK Mommy!'"

Like a lot of kids, Cate has a tendency to whine and complain when I ask her to do something. When she does this I always ask her, "Why can't you just say 'OK Mommy!' instead of complain all the time?"

Looks like we are making progress in the right direction! She got a big hug for that one.

Can you please come to my house next? I desperately need some help, or to get my kids hearing checked. I swear.

Oh! I so feel your pain. I guess if she didn't verbally express it, you'll take this right?

Oh...my kids always obey and never complain! :)

That's so cute of her. I am really loving 5yr old girls these days.
