The Art of Bed Making

A few months ago I noticed as I walked by her room in the mornings that she tried to make her bed differently every day. It was so cute to see how she would arrange her blankets, books, toys and stuffed animals and I found myself looking forward to seeing her darling design each morning. I started to take pictures without her knowing. She eventually caught on but continues to try make her bed extra cute. Here are some of her designs:

That is adorable. Love the pink.

Your basement looks great, too! So exciting. You will have to get decorating advice from k.

I LOVE this! Have you ever heard of any other kids doing anything like this? I know I would never have thought to do it. ;-) So cute. Kudos to Cate!

Very cute. Just wondering -- what is that huge gray thing she clearly loves?

LOL. Glad you asked. That is a stuffed potato bug (pill bug) that she picked out at Ikea.

Fabulous! She is very meticulous. I wish I had some on the meticulous side. She must have inherited her mothers creativity and flair for decorating! Good for her.
