Much of our time at La Vallee was spent on the 6 acre lake. Almost every morning and evening, the kids ran down to the dock to see if the fish were biting! We were excited to have a brand new paddle boat for our use and all of the fishing gear we could possible need!
Isaac caught the biggest fish of the trip - a bass.
On the other side of the lake we discovered another tiny dock.
And a fishing/hunting cabin.
Most of what we caught were these small blue gill.
Every evening the lake became alive with the chirping and croaking of several different kinds of frogs! It really became quite the chorus!
One morning Wes took Sarah to another small lake on the property to check out the fishing there. More blue gill.
