Memorial Day 2014

This year we had the unexpected surprise of seeing a bunch of our Beck relatives at Grandma and Grandpa's grave.  We are accustomed to just seeing my dad's side of the family on Memorial Day.  But it was wonderful to see my mom's family too!

Aunt Linda asked us to share some memories of Grandma and Grandpa Beck.

We said goodbye to Florence and Elden and walked over to visit my mom's grave, my brother peter's grave and the other Clark graves.

Still hard to believe and accept so I try not to dwell on it.

It has always been tradition to decorate Grandma and Grandpa Clark's grave with spring flowers.

After we decorated the graves, my dad hosted a very lovely lunch at his condo.
