Last Saturday Addie and I made a "Thankful Tree." It will help our family remember what things we are thankful for as we approach this holiday season. This is a picture of our tree after the first day.
It has been so fun to see the leaves that appear each day.
This is what our tree looked like after a few days...
Now the leaves are really starting to flutter!
We keep a bowl of leaves close by with a sharpie and some tape - even friends and family who stop by are invited to add their leaves to the tree.
I can't wait to see what it looks like on Thanksgiving Day!
Tree trunk and branches made from brown tissue paper. Leaves are printed off of google images and the kids cut them out.

Great idea, Em! Gratitude is an important key to happiness.
I am thankful for your blog too - whoever put that one, and I'm thankful that you made this tree because it is a great idea. Love it.
I like your tree better than mine! I will take your brown tissue and leaf printouts for next year.
Congrats to Cate! Pass it on.
