On the way home we stopped to visit our friends who were camping up the canyon. We all decided that it had been way too long since we had camped as a family! Maybe we can pull something together before the end of the summer.

Weekend Review - Friday Hike
Friday we headed up the canyon for a hike and finally found the wildflowers I have been looking for! It was glorious and the pictures don't it justice. Having lived outside the state for the past several years - I had forgotten how much I love the mountain wildflowers! It reminds me of when I was a little girl and Liz and I would play in the meadow below her cabin and hike to Stewart Falls. And thanks to my mom, I can actually identify quite a few of them.
